How To Pass the Series 7

By Nick Hunter

Passing the Series 7 can be a challenge for most and many times it is because students do not practice with enough difficult practice questions to pass the test. Failing the Series 7 exam can also come down to not using the right study material or simply not studying enough. The best way to pass the Series 7 is the work the practice tests until you score consistently in the 80% range.

You do not want the actual exam to be much harder or any harder than the study questions you were practicing. To pass the series 7, you simply need to be battle hardened with accurate and plentiful series 7 test questions.

The test has 250 multiple choice questions, so you want to have enough practice Series 7 tests. Not having enough exams to practice with can lead to failing the exam.

As you study for the Series 7, Series 6 or almost any securities licensing test - it is crucial to work with MORE than enough exams. Memorizing repetitive test questions may give you good final exam practice scores, but it will not give you the readiness to pass the Series 7. It will only provide a false sense of security.

Using Training Software is a good tool to passing the Series 7 - as it is given on computer. Many programs will have a high degree of accuracy and toughness. Some of the better ones will track your progress and have chapters sections.

One of the biggest exam software programs is offered by American Investment Training. It has over 7000 Series 7 questions.

Accurate and detailed answer explanations to your practice questions is a VERY important aspect of studying and passing the series 7. When you get a question wrong (or even if you guessed it right), you want to see the correct answer explanation clearly written out.

A study tip that works well is when you go through a test and the results is not to just grade it, but really read the answer explanations whether you right or wrong. There may be a broader concept.
