Superman And The Collection Agency

By Greg Diener

One of my all-time favorite super heroes since I was a child has been the popular character Superman. If you were to ask me exactly why I like Superman so much I could not pinpoint the reason as to why I like him. Maybe it's because he is a powerful individual with amazing powers and can fly around anywhere in the world to fix any problem that draws me to the character. But now that I am older there has been one issue that I need to ask how does he maintain facing a collection agency under his superhero persona?

If you do not take into account Superman's secret identity of Clark Kent who no doubt is such a responsible person that he would pay off any bills on-time to creditors, the question is how does Superman operate with collection agencies? Remember this is a person who lives in the North Pole in a house that is made entirely out of ice that is supposed to keep people out. How do collection agencies reach Superman in the first place? Does Superman have special sensory powers to know when he needs to pay out everything he has on credit?

Now another problem I have is whenever Superman is faced with a big brawl with one of his many foes in the comic book is Superman forced with having to pay part of the bill for all the damage that they brought about? It seems like credit collection bills is another Kryptonite for Superman since he would have to be faced with trying to pay for everything that his adversaries have done to the city of Metropolis.

Now Superman should turn to a group of organizations that have been proven to help people time and time again and I am not talking about his friends at the Justice League. The Man of Steel needs to turn to credit collection companies like Rapid Recovery Solution which are super heroes in their own right when it comes to solving crisis regarding people's credits.

Working with credit collection agencies should take a tremendous load off of Superman's back but that's a rhetorical question since Superman probably doesn't feel giant loads on his back. But Superman could by working with a big name collection agency can worry about protecting the great citizens of Metropolis without having to face getting his bills for the giant sound system at the Fortress of Solitude.
